A day's driving from south to north Devon - Weymouth to Clovelly

Such a gorgeous sunny morning!  We set out to explore the southern and northern coast of Devon.  It turned out that we essentially drove from the coast of English Channel to the coast of Bristol Channel, via some quaint little towns in Somerset.   A hard driving day for Ed, but such an enjoyable day for me.  Although that I think Ed enjoyed the scenery, the village scene, the challenge of driving and the uniqueness of Clovelly very much too.

Even more narrow country lanes:

Quaint village scenes:

Nice scenery along the way:

We then arrived in Clovelly, which is a traffic free, cobble stone lined fishing village.  Donkeys are used for transportation.

Once upon a time, lime kilning was an important part of the local economy:

We wished that we could spent more time in Clovelly!
