Girona

We went to Girona primarily to see its flower festival, which happens on an annual basis for one week.
The streets were really narrow and crowded.  We finally found parking by the river, then walked back to the center of town
One simply wonders around from street to street, and admire all the flower arrangements:
 








 

 

 

Then we wanted to walk up to the wall, then walk on the wall:


 This is the bridge that took us to directly on the wall.

We had a lovely lunch in a local restaurant:
Janice and I visit a Banyan exhibit and a museum.



They say if you kiss this little statue you will come back to Girona.
