Kotor, Montenegro

By the time we got to Kotor, I was really sick and lost too much energy.  So I missed the optional tour to Centinje (Montenegro's cultural heart and one-time capital.  I did a bit walking of the town, but did not have any energy to climb the hill to see the church on the hillside. But managed to take pictures of two churches at the bottom of the hill.

In the afternoon, we took a bus to the town of Perast in Montanegro.  then board a small ship to visit the Boroque "Our Lady of the Rocks"  According to the legend, local fishermen saw Virgin Mary in the reef here in 1452, and began a ritual of dropping a stone each time they sail by, eventually creating the island where the church now sits.  This is the only man-made island in Adriatic.
