Leon, Spain

Leon is a very vibrant city with with lots of fun, and a display of medieval, Gothic, Renaissance, and Modernist architecture.  Our hotel sits on the side of a busy square. 


On Wednesday morning, the square turned into a farmer's market.   bought some nice cherry, donuts peaches , and tomatoes. 
Walking around town saw a varieties of buildings:


 



 





We experienced rain and hail right outside the cathedral, which gave us an opportunity to witness that the gargoyles do work pretty effectively:
