Overland to Bilbao, via Biarritz and Saint-Jean-de-Luz

After breakfast, we head out to Biarritz, the seaside playground of French Basque Country.  The weather was not great.  But we were able to see where the rich and famous (including Nepoleon III's wife Empress Eugenie, Coco Chanel, and Charlie Chaplin) used to hang out.

Continue on, we visited Saint-Jean-de-Luz, where the wedding of Louis XIV and Maria Theresa of Spain was held.  Now a days, it is just a tourists destination with lots of shops.

It was time to say good-bye to Daniel, as we soon arrived Bilbao and then met Carmen and six new travelers to start the main tour.
